Censored in several countries for its gratuitous violence, this controversial faux documentary from director Ruggero Deodato presents footage from a team of New York University filmmakers mysteriously lost in the Amazon jungle. The film, allegedly recovered by Professor Harold Moore, reveals the deplorable treatment of a tribe of suspected South American cannibals and, ultimately, the fate of the crew that initially set out to film the natives.
The entire plot of this movie, or what they try to pass off as plot, takes only the first 10 minutes and is thoroughly detailed in the Netflix snippet. The entirety of the rest of the running time is nothing more than clips of gratuitous nudity, rape and gore. According to what little story there is this is a result of the films being damaged in the Amazonian humidity.There are no spoilers after the break because there is nothing to spoil. There is no plot and therefore nothing to twist.
